My friend had zygomatic surgery about 2 1/2 months ago after a car accident. A dissolving mesh was used to help re-reinforce the bone while it healed. Her swelling was down to almost normal about a month ago. Just yesterday she had swelling again. Is the new swelling a result of the mesh dissolving and her body slowing absorbing it? Is it possibly her body refusing the mesh? or ?
