Zopliclone in Pregnancy

Hello has anyone ever used zopliclone in pregnancy, i suffer from really bad insomnia and have used it for the last 4 years on and off. I am now 15 weeks pregnant and dont know wether to take it or not? Its usually the only thing that works for me...thanks xx

Actually insufficient data are available on zopiclone to assess its safety during human pregnancy and lactation, therefore the use of zopiclone during pregnancy is not recommended. Studies in animals have not shown evidence of an increased occurrence of foetal damage.
