Depression Answer A25759
Hi,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough, but it looks like depression to me.

I will suggest that she needs psychotherapy along with phramacotherapy. Please get in touch with an experienced counselor.Supportive counseling feels helpful, and as part of the overall treatment plan does help. But, unless the depressed person makes critical life changes, the depression will continue.

Treatment options include cognitive behavior therapy, medicines like SSRI’s, benzodiazepines and psychological counseling.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
