76 yo says microscopic fleas bite her all over. I never see

User Profile
My 76 yr old mom just told me she's been suffering w super powerful microscopic fleas for over 3 years now!!! She has RA, arethmia, high blood pleasure, and struggles w depression as well. She keeps soaking her hands and feet in the hottest water possible . But, they jump back on her immediately after. She said they are only interested in biting HER. I have been over her house a couple times a week, even staying to play scrabble..... I've never been bit ( and I'm super sensitive to fleas myself!!) I've never seen them in her, or seen her scratching. ) she is DESPERATE FOR A CURE!!! She's used flea bombs, apt sprayed, spent $1,500 on lemon extract w dish soap. They are in her underwear, feet, face, up her nose, try to get in her eyes, and are biting her lips. She's had scabies in the past, so she said it's not that. This is all too much for her, it's ruining her life. I'm not even allowed to talk about Jesus anymore cause she's given up on him thinking he doesn't care about her anymore.

Acne and Skin Disorders Answer A49081
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern.

I would advise a consult with a dermatologist and psychiatrist to have a comprehensive view of what the actual diagnosis is.

If her symptoms persist please fix an
appointment with your doctor so that
a physical exam is performed after a
complete history and the necessary
investigations are done to look for any
other cause

Let me know if you have any query

wishing you best of health

Thanks
