17 yo having difficulty exhaling. Inhaling is fine

User Profile
Hi Doctors,

I'm 17 years old and the last few months i'm experiencing some difficulty exhaling. Inhaling is fine but when i exhale i have the feeling that not all of the air in my lungs get's out of my lungs. I have pectus excavatum so i thought it might have something to do with that? I also use a supplement before i go to the gym, might it have something to do with that? Should i use a different supplement (it's a pre-workout). Or should i quit taking pre-workouts or doesn't it matter? I really hope you can help me.

thank you for asking
pectus excavatum is a chest bone deformity and might responsible for breathing difficulties. also pulmonary functions assessments need to be evaluated too. also psychological profile needs to be evaluated. Anxiety can also lead to such dyspnea. Get to a pulmonologist and let them assess your situation.
take care
