Yeast Infection Answer A46904
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Few women tend to get infection after period as there is pH changes that occur in vaginal secretions due to hormonal changes around period and due to bleeding. If infection is recurrent then do not ignore your symptoms. Visit your doctor/healthcare provider for thorough examination and evaluation to look for the underlying cause and rule out diabetes. Further treatment options would be suggested based on correlation of the evaluation results with your symptoms and examination findings. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/healthcare provider and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
