40 year old mother of four

User Profile
I am 40 years old mother of four. I have had my tubes tied but recently have been feeling movement in my abdomen.I definately know what it feels like to have a baby move inside of you, and that is exactly what this feels like. I thought I was loosing my mind until I found out so many other women experience this.My last two periods seemed normal as far as the amount of blood but my cycle was two days shorter than normal.I also have been sick lately and craving anything sweet. I have been having severe tenderness in my breast and noticed today a clear fluid leaking from my breast. Could I possibly be pregnant?

Am I Pregnant Answer A14697
Hi, Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Since you had your normal menstrual periods , so chances of pregnancy are unlikely. When pregnancy occurs, cessation of menses occurs. This fluttering in the stomach may be due to peristaltic movements of the food in the intestines or due to muscle cramps of abdomen. Frequent abdominal muscle cramps are seen in prolonged exercise, stress and anxiety, anemia, dehydration and deficiency of sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium and in serious disorders like myotonia, vascular disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. Eat healthy nutritious food and keep yourself well hydrated. Also get your hemoglobin levels evaluated for anemia.

Usually, these symptoms go away on their own after a balanced diet, but if the symptoms persist then a clinical evaluation by a physician is desirable. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations, and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
