25 year old male, i feel like I have every disease!

Hi Doctor ,
A week ago I went on vacation and had sex with an escort , vaginal was with condom and oral was without. I did not ejaculate during intercourse so I finished off by myself in the shower. I might have inserted a finger in her vagina and then touched my uncovered penis as well but I don't exactly remember. Two days after the incident I returned back from vacation and immediately , like right after landing , got the sniffles but I thought it was quite common due to change in weather conditions. I also masturbated after reaching home , I masturbate in the prone position. Anyways three days later ( masturbated for all 3 days) I felt a slight tingling ( more like a tiny prick not painful at all and just fleeting ) in the top of my penis, near the opening, more a little towards the left, usually while I'm sitting. I had been worrying about catching an STD ever since I had sex with the escort so I'm not sure if I felt the tingling because of my paranoia or if it is really there, it only happens when I'm getting worried about getting an STD or start concentrating on my penile area. I joined work the next day and came down with a runny nose and little bit of tiredness and now cough so I took some multivitamin tablets and an antibiotic known as Klavox 1g - clavulanate-potentiated amoxycillin. After I took this the tingling really hasn't gone I can still feel it if I think about it and sometime when I'm sitting I think I feel it in the shaft but I have now noticed one small pea sized lump at the base of my penis a little to the left. It doesn't hurt unless I really press hard on it and it is invisible and other than the slight itchy feeling I get because of my pubic hair moving against it there is no pain Could this be a cyst or a reaction to the condom ? .

I am 25 year old male .I do not have any burning sensations while I pee or any marks or any discharges or any symptoms for STDs that I've found on the net. I had also been drinking a lot of alcohol during the vacation and yesterday my blood sugar level was 7.5 according to Accu-Chek. I've heard the increase in sugar could cause yeast infection ? Please tell me if I really should be worried or if it's all in my head because I'm going crazy and I feel like I have every disease I'm reading about ! Getting an STD/STI test immediately won't be possible as the country I am in has strict regulations. Please please help !

I think be patient and waiting for the STD/I test is the best option for you. As sometimes STD/I can be asymptomatic. However, that being said the possibility of you having a std/i is not very high since the only real possibility of infection assuming the health of the condom was good was during oral sex.

Lastly, this whole yeast infection yes high sugar can provoke a yeast infection, but it does not cause it. However, when it comes to men it usually those who suffer from hyperglycemia that are at risk for a yeast infection and those who suffer from hyperglycemia tend to be diabetic. Not saying it is impossible for other men to get a yeast infection. Although it is important to note that they usually get from a partner or an outside source. Now that being said your symptoms don't match a penile yeast infection as there is usually a red rash where the cultures are growing.

I know it is hard to be patient when it comes your health, but right now all I can think of is checking for an STD/I and that requires testing.

In the meantime, I would suggest giving your penis a break as masturbating three days in a row is rough on it.

Best of luck.

Thank you so much for your reply ! I know a test would be a final answer but I am st ill looking for a more definitive answer as not knowing is killing me ! I think Ill try to come back home within the next two months and do a test but is there a time as in could I be too late to do a test for anything effective to work out ? Also can you please tell me what that lump is all about ?? Thank you so much. Also on an added note my flu is gone but I might have a throat infection but that maybe due to weather changes and due to the fact that I stopped smokong abruptly after my vacation.

It is hard to suggest anything because a lump on the penis can mean absolutely nothing.

As to the throat infection smokers do tend to get more throat infection because of the chemicals that are involved with smoking. So that may be a reasonable factor as to why you got the throat infection.

In terms of time span I will warn against unnecessarily waiting as some std do have negative consequences to them if left unattended. I don't mean to scare you or anything, but these things should be dealt with asap. However, if it is a bacterial STD then it should be treatable regardless of time but as mentioned there is increased risk, but if it is a viral std then the earlier the treatment the better as reduces any negative consequences.

Best of luck.

Hi
sorry to bring this up again but i feel like im seeing new symptoms ... I was on amoxcillin for a few days since the last post and i felt better i think maybe i was distracted anyways while i was on it i always felt as if my anus was leaking or wet or something , there were no discharges i think but I stopped taking the antibiotic since i think two days back , i now have a burning feeling when i go poop and i think it might be a bit red around that area as well. maybe its a reaction from the antibiotic ? Or maybe its because of spicy food ? I've also noticed if i roll back my foreskin a mark on my penis head towards the bottom , now it looks a bit like white dry skin or like how ur finger looks if its been in water too long. i can also see small strands like of dry skin on the penis head when i roll back the foreskin. it still doesnt hurt when i pee and there are no other symptoms anywhere else except for the weird tingling.
