Pregnancy occurs only during the time of ovulation. Ovulation is the release of a single, mature egg from a follicle that developed in the ovary. It usually occurs regularly, around day 14 of a 28-day menstrual cycle. If you had unprotected inytercourse close to ovualtion then chances of pregnancy are there.

Most chemical tests for pregnancy look for the presence of the beta subunit of hCG or human chorionic gonadotropin in the urine. hCG can be detected in urine after implantation of zygote in the wall of the uterus formed by the union of the sperm & the ovum, which occurs six to twelve days after fertilization.

You can do a urine for pregnancy test by a highly qualitative urine for pregnancy test after 10 days of ovulation or wait for your periods and if you miss them then you can do a urine for pregnancy test after 1 week of your missed periods date. Alternately you can also do a serum pregnancy test which is more specific than a urine test.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
