26 y/o with acne, sebhorrea, grey hair, balding

My hair and skin is terrible and getting worse. I have the above issues plus anxiety, underweight etc. none of it majorly in my genes either. is there something I should be checking out?

Hi, Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out.

Acne is due to an over activity and plugging of the oil glands. You may be having acne or seborrheic dermatitis.

Treatment for acne includes topical and oral antibiotics, topical retinoids, hormonal therapy, dermabrasion , phototherapy and laser resurfacing. Normally a combination of treatments is followed and if nothing proves effective then dermabrasion and laser therapy are useful. You can discuss these treatment options with your dermatologist.
