Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you have increased the dosage within short period of time, and if you have abruptly stopped taking xanax without tapering the dosage, you may experience withdrawal effects. It is difficult to comment on the exact cause for symptoms that you describe without examining you and going ahead with further evaluation. Avoid self medication. Visit your doctor/healthcare provider for further examination, evaluation, clarification and assistance. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/healthcare provider and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
