X-ray question- young with arthritis?

Today I had an xray done on my hands. My index, middle, and ring finger are swollen on my right hand and are sore. My right pinky is sore too. Left hand fine. Dr is looking for RA. My X-rays of each hand look pretty much identical. How do you identify arthritis on an xray?? Btw- my bloodwork is being done tomorrow..

Thank you for asking

Articular degenerative changes are likely in arthritis. Blood work up for RA factor and Anti CCP antibodies assay will sort it out.

Take care.
