Within the past 3 weeks my wrist has been popping the counter clockwise and clockwise motion. The popping is very loud but doesn't hurt. It only hurts after long usage such as writing or repeated stress. The popping is in the middle at the bottom of my right hand and on my pinky side at the bottom as well. any thoughts as to what it is

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Your wrist needs to be examined, i think its merely a ligament strain due to excessive load on the wrist muscle due to your job description, slight physiotherapy exercises and some tylenol and frequent pauses to have the wrist rested will help.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
