I read your question and i understand your concern. You can request any wrist splint for the typing purpose. Just make sure that you sit on a comfortable chair at appropriate level height of your desktop and a keyboard is surrounded by a comfortable enough space where you can put your hands and arms while typing. This will help with the discomfort and try to avoid typing for more than 30 minutes in a row and have frequent breaks and see if it helps.
