Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you are unsure, then you should go ahead with visiting your gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination along with ultrasound scan to see if the uterine cavity is empty. If retained products are detected, you will need to have a D&C (dilatation and curettage) procedure done to clean the uterus. If you intend to remain sexually active, consider visiting your gynecologist to get started on suitable regular birth control measures to be protected (after your periods). Be regular with birth control use as instructed. Avoid having unprotected sexual contact. Avoid repeated abortions, as it can affect your future fertility levels (resulting in infertility due to uterine scarring).
Take care.
