Welcome to ehealthforum.
If you miss 2 or more than 2 active pills in your pack, you are risk of pregnancy. The spotting could either be a breakthrough bleeding due to missing pills or be indicative of pregnancy (implantation). Wait and watch for your periods. If the bleeding pattern is abnormal, or if you miss your periods, consider visiting your gynecologist for examination and tests to confirm/rule out pregnancy. Do not start with next birth control pill pack unless pregnancy gets ruled out.
Take care.
