Hi and welcome to the forum! I am glad that I can help you.

You want to know how you can help your friend.

A normal and healthy weight that individuals should try to have is a body mass index of 19%-24,9%. There are several formulas used to calculate the BMI. Individuals may in rare cases experience a kind of eating disorder such as anorexia or bulemia. Anorexia is a condition where a person eats small amounts of food and vomits later, spontaneously or by forcing expulsion. Bulemia is a condition when a person eats normal or great amounts of food and later vomits without any forcing. These two medical conditions are treated with consultation with a psychiatrist.

According to the data that you described, your friend may or may not experience any of the medical conditions listed above. If he wants to reduce his weight he may consider exercising starting with easier exercises. He may also avoid food rich in fats such as pork meat, chips and sweets. He should increase the amount of the vegetables and fruit that he consumes. You may also advise him to take vitamin B6 to avoid anxiety. If any of these recomendations doesn't prove as helpful he may consider seeing a psychiatrist.

Please keep in mind that I provide medical information only. I am not able to diagnose medical conditions online. Please advise your friend to consult his doctor for further advice and information about diagnosis and treatment options.
