wondering if precum in tip of condom can make me pregnant

User Profile
2 weeks ago I had intercourse, during which the condom broke while having, I was wondering if precum in the tip of condom can make me pregnant. I was ovulating at the time and I was wondering what the chances are. Also later in the evening he came and tried to insert him self immediataly afterwards. I was suppose to get my period today and it has not come, I am going to wait another day before taking a test, but if it is not possible for me to get pregnant from the previous activity I do think I'll need to test.

Welcome to ehealthforum,
Pre-cum/pre-ejaculatory fluid is known to contain sperms. If there has been recent ejaculation, the chances of active and healthy sperms being present in pre-cum is high. If you were during your fertile days/ovulation time at the time of your sexual contact, chances of pregnancy are high. If pregnancy is suspected, look out for development of any new symptoms suggestive of pregnancy. Wait and watch for your next periods. If you do not get your periods within 10 days of expected period dates, or if you develop any new symptoms, or if you suspect chances of pregnancy, you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Be in regular follow-up and monitoring of your treating gynecologist and report any unusual/abnormal/new symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
If pregnancy gets ruled out, and if you intend to remain sexually active (and if not ready for pregnancy), consider visiting your gynecologist to get started on suitable regular birth control measures to be protected (after your periods). Be regular with birth control use as instructed. Avoid having unprotected sexual contact.
Take care.
