Hi Doc! 2 days ago, I ate tons of onions because my tacos had alot of onions. And then, i was the one who chopped the onions. After chopping, i washed my hands and masterbated. I have long nails and when i smelled my cum, i was surprised because it smelled like onion! It was kinda strong. So today, it is the second day and until now after i masterbated, it still smells like onions :( i am afraid to consult a doctor thats why i choose this :) Please help me :( thank you.

Hi, and thanks for your query on eHealth forum!

Yes, onion smell stays for a long time. Also, the smell may be re-introduced through your hands. You can cut your nails and wash your hands with baking soda followed by soap and water. If the smell still persists, you can buy OTC lactobacillus vaginal preparations and apply. This will increase the good flora in the vagina and help remove the smell. In all probability the smell will go by these measures. If it does not, then please consult your healthcare provider for further guidance.

Hi doc, its been 3 days after the event. I masterbated a while ago, and there was just a LITTLE smell of onion, but it was not that strong like the previous one. Should i still buy OTC lactobacillus? I saw in the internet that i should take lots of fluids so that it will flush out of my system, will it work? Please reply doc Sad
