14 wks pregnant, discharge after antibiotics

User Profile
I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant and suffer from water infections and have antibiotics for it but with it I have noticed a discharge which is yellowish and makes me feel uncomfortable and is sometimes sore down there and itchy, I'm worried as I have searched it and could be an infection such as bv, thrush or yeast, shall I phone my midwife tomorrow or phone my GP and get an appointment at the doctors? I'm really worried incase it harms the baby.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Discharge yellow in color needs to be assessed and tested so ring your doc and let them take some swabs from the secretion and also monitor the vitals of the new born and treat you accordingly.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
