Wiped out after a "decent" night's sleep!

The other night I went to bed as usual, slept absolutely fine without interruption but the next morning I felt increasingly peculiar and incredibly wiped out, as if I had hardly slept a wink! I wonder if anyone else has experienced this? Totally bewildering and hopefully won't happen again but it would just be good to know what could have caused such a strange sense of exhaustion - particularly as I'd had a very easy day and relaxing evening beforehand!

Watch for a recurring pattern on this. If it's a one-time thing, I wouldn't worry about it.

If this starts to recur on a regular basis, make an appointment with your doc. This could be a sign of sleep apnea.
