Will I be protected immediately after the start of my 2nd pack??

Typically I heard you are protected immediately at the start of your second pack of bc pills.

However, in my first pack, I missed my 7th and 8th pill but I followed the instructions on how to take the missed pills and got back on track. Does missing these two pills mean I will not be protected at the start of my 2nd pack especially after 7 days of placebo pills?

If you skip your placebo week and go straight onto a new pack of active pills, you will be protected and wont need to use condoms.
