will I be able to use my walker after open CTS surgery?

When will I be able to use my walker after open CTS surgery? I have spinal stenosis and am awaiting right knee surgery likely in 5 to 6 months. I need to use a walker to ambulate.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. You can walk even after 2days to stay ambulated, carpal tunnel release is very benign and minimal invasive procedure and you may still continue walking on the same day. No apprehension from the release.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
