will baby be healthy? she's on Schizo and thyroid meds

My GF is Schizophrenic and has thyroid problems.

She is taking strong dosage of medicines to keep the above problems in control.

She cannot be off medication for Schizophrenia and thyroid.

Is is possible for her to give birth to a healthy child?

Welcome to e health forum.

Yes, it is possible for your wife to conceive and have a normal child.

But it would be necessary to make sure that any medications (especially for schizophrenia) which are contraindicated during pregnancy may need to be changed to safer medications.

A consultation with your doctor would be helpful, as he can assess your condition and change the medications as needed.
