wife is 5 wks pregnant. Cardiac activity not found

My wife is 5 weeks pregnant. she started paining in lower abdomin. We consulted gynae who suggested Beta HCG, Progesterone test & TVR for early pregancy studies. Beta HCG level was 13360 mlu/ml corresponding to 5-6 weeks of pregnancy. The serum progesterone level was 8.7 ng/ml which doctor said is very low. So She prescribed susten Inj. every 4 days. Duphaston & Foledge tablets are also given. TVR report said Cardiac activity not found but single irregular intrauterine gestational sac is seen. yolk sac is seen. please give your opinion for pregnancy to continue.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay in response. This is a conflicting situation and I must say all the values are much lower even the beta HCG. There is no cardiac activity which should appear within 5 weeks. I suggest for a rescan after one week and if the same condition persists or there is occurrence of any bleeding per vagina; it needs a termination.
