Where I feel the contractions-In labor NOW

I was at a 4 a few hours ago and my contractions are occurring about every 6 mins. Now I'm feeling my contractions lower. Is this normal? Does it mean it's almost go-time and I need to get to the hospital? I live four mins away so my doctor told me I could wait at home until I'm in active labor.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
You need to go. You are now more than 4 obviously and in active labor. There is no point of delay after 4 cm dilatation.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counseling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
