When to schedule surgery to remove gallbladder?

Last Friday (10-7-2016) I went in to the ER because I had a very bad pain on the right side of my stomach and my abdomen. They did an ultrasound and found gallstones and told me my gallbladder was inflamed. I've had the pain for around three weeks, I can't eat anything and its constant naseua. Every time I eat the attacks get worse so I've been afraid to eat. I have the pain all day and all night, they didn't prescribe anything. Told me its just acid but I've taken acid medication and it does not help. When is it time to schedule a surgery to remove my gallbladder. Its been setting my anxiety off because I'm so drained from having this pain every single day and night. Please help me.
