when is it best for me to get pregnant?

when is it best for me to get pregnant? I used to get my period irregularly but the last three times I've got my period regally, I've heard it best to get pregnant about 14days before you get your period but I don't know if that is true or not, and because I used to get my period irregularly dose that mean I might not be able to have kids?

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern.

Post ovulation , there is a better chance of conception , its not better or worse. Determine your ovulation time and then plan accordingly. PCOS polycystic ovaries can lead to infertility and are associated with irregular periods. Do You have PCOS , if not then don't worry , there could be other factors for the irregularities that were temporary.

Let me know if you have any query

thanks
