Pancreatic cancer, the third major cause of cancer-related death in the United States in 2018 is expected to become the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the US by the end of 2020, surpassing colorectal cancer

Generally, the rate of pancreatic cancer is observed more in the people older than 45 years. 90% of pancreatic cancer case is found in the people of age 55 and most of these cases are diagnosed in the age of 71. Around 74% of people suffering from pancreatic cancer die within the first five years of diagnosis.

I went through your query and i understand your concern.Pancreatic cancer is no doubt the leading cancer. Early screening and early diagnosis helps the cure. Screening programs and followups are advised for the better prognosis. Staying touch with the doctor helps.
