Getting Pregnant Answer A23987
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Normal male ejaculate is of about 2-6 ml. Normal sperm counts varies between 40-60 million per ml (should be above 20 million/ml to be normal). Hence a drop of semen can contain millions of sperms. Pre-cum/pre-ejaculatory fluid can also contain millions of sperms (especially if there has been recent ejaculation). Only 1 sperm is needed to fertilize the egg and result in pregnancy. the chance sof pregnancy resulting due to pre-cum cannot be ruled out completely (if you were during your fertile days or time of egg release from ovary at the time of the sexual contact involving semen or pre-cum).
Take care.
