what is delayed pregnancy?

what is delayed pregnancy? my urine test was positive and the USG was not satisfying for the doctors. They did BCHG and it was 984.2 .then they said I am pregnant but they need to have an another usg after 15 days to see if the growth is properto confirm . I am confused? Can you help?

Sometimes the fetal growth is slow and the beta HCG levels do not rise as expected (a rising level is more diagnostic of pregnancy than a high level). In this case a trans vaginal ultrasound is repeated at 9-11 weeks to look for fetal heart beat to confirm pregnancy. If at 10-11 weeks also the gestational sac is visualized and there is no yolk sac then a diagnosis of blighted ovum is given. Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please consult your gynecologist regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!
