Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing

Your report is suggestive of Polycystic disease and endometrial polyp. In polycystic ovaries the hormone dis-balance is such that there are long intervals in between two periods. The symptoms may or may not be present and are irregular periods, increased hair growth in facial area and other body parts, cramps during menstruation, weight gain, non ovulatory cycles, difficulty in conception etc.

Endometrial polyp is development of small growth/tumours in the inner lining of uterus. Both the conditions cause hormonal imbalance and issues in conception.Clomid is the most common drug prescribed for the treatment of PCOD.Some other adjuvant drugs like metformin are also reported to help during weight loss and to upregulate the hormone receptors

Your Gynaecologist has advised you rightly for a repeat scan.Take the treatment as advised. It is also necessary to check whether you are ovulating or not so that conception can be planned.Kindly take the prescribed treatment and be in regular follwo up with her.

Take care!
