Wet Panties/Lower Back Pain

I've been experiencing these symptoms for about one week. One day I was feeling hot and cold in my hands and feet and then all over my body. I noticed my socks were almost soaked and then went to the ladies room to find my underwear near soaked too. The fluid is clear, no color, not milky.

I have also had lower back pain (to the point where getting up, putting on socks, driving and walking all hurt). I had recently started a new exercise routine since around January/Feb. and did spine and back exercises last when my back started hurting me.

Are the two related? Could this be menopause symptoms?

Also, I had shingles within the last 4-6 months. I was thinking it could be coming back but I don't see a rash this time.

Are any of these things related? Separate?
I'm 41 years old.

Thanks for your answer.

Hi floatingspirit and welcome to ehealth: You could find out from your doctor if you could be starting Menopause...I believe they do a blood test...As far as the sweating, this could possibly be a shingles aftermath or even the sweats from Menopause...As for the back problems, I have found that aging is not a friend to your spine...It seems that even the slightest twist that you never did before, you pay a price for...I am not an expert on the back problem, but I would tie it together with the exercise...

If you are confused, then talk to your doctor...They can be the most helpful of all...I wish you well...Take care...
