were together but we did NOT have sexual intercourse...

User Profile
hi, my last period was on 19th april for 4 days..on 29 april me and my boyfriend were together but we did NOT have sexual intercourse..he just fingered me and ejaculated outside no where near my vaginal area..also in the beginning his penis touched my vagina but not his tip for 10 sec before i put my hand in between. Also he recollects he did not have anything on his fingers and did not even touch himself before he touched me. Is there any chance of pregnancy? Im really scared and thus abstained from having intercourse..the next day after the incident i started getting cramps but that might be because i ovulated and on 3rd may i had white discharge which i get when i ovulate, my next period is due on 17th may but im really stressed about a possible pregnancy.. When can i take a test and be sure i am not pregnant?? Please help. Also when i put my finger inside my vagina today i noticed white runny discharge is that normal?? But nothing on panties or tissue paper.

Am I Pregnant Answer A43340
Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Pregnancy can occur only when a sperm fuses with an ova or egg. For this the sperms need to be ejaculated inside the vagina or there should be entry of sperms inside the vagina which travel through the cervix and uterus to reach the egg in the fallopian tube.

Sometimes there are active sperms in the prostatic secretions or precum which can cause pregnancy but since there was no penetration, so chances are very less likely. If you miss your periods, then you should do a urine for pregnancy test after one week of missing your periods.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations, and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
