Recently I have noticed a growing rash near my groin area. Its not a centralized rash, but more red streaks that don't protrude very much. My skin has started to peel on one of these streak marks (about 1in long and .5 in wide). There is no itchiness or pain

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out.

The rash can be due to dermatitis skin, friction rub with clothes, stretch marks or due to fungal infection like tinea cruris.

First of all, wash the area and then pat dry. Try to keep the area as dry as possible. Also wear cotton underwear and do not share other people’s towels.

If the symptoms persist then consult a doctor and get these causes ruled out.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
