weight gain and all pregnancy symptoms. Is this possible?

User Profile
Hi, I am 23 years old and I had my third child in November 2010. I had a tubal done at the time of my cesarean. However, my cycles were awful so my gynecologist suggested an ablation. I had it done november 2012. I haven't had any bleeding since. All of a sudden I am experiencing weight gain and all pregnancy symptoms. Is this even possible?? Thanks.

Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the exact cause for your sudden weight gain and pregnancy like symptoms that you describe without further evaluation. Pregnancy chances could be possible if you had been sexually active and if your ovarian function has been intact (with occasional ovulation). The symptoms can also be due to underlying hormonal changes, thyroid related problems or any other endocrine problem, or cancerous changes. The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation. You should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough evaluation, clarification and assistance.
Take care.
