Third Trimester of Pregnancy Answer A19069
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Your symptoms could be indicative of early uterine activity. When the pain is present see if there is associated abdominal tightening and radiation of pain to back, thighs and pelvic floor/vulva. Consider visiting your obstetrician for a thorough examination to rule out increased uterine activity that can lead to premature onset of labor pain. You might need to be put on uterine relaxants to help you carry on pregnancy smoothly until the time of scheduled C-section.
Take care.
