6 weeks pregnant, boyfriend left me, wants me to have abortion

Hello, I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and only found out 2 days ago. I recently told my boyfriend at the time, we were together for 3 years, and he was happy to discuss our options and stick together. It was no surprise I was pregnant to him because he dosnt like protection and I never took the pill. I was in shock when I found out, I've been crying a lot and I just felt like my boyfriend didn't care about me anymore and he was too busy going gym or doing other things. He always spoke about having a baby with me, as he already has a child from his ex, and hoped one day that it would happen, and now it has.

However today he completely turned on me and said he can't put up with me anymore and never wants to see me again and wants me to have an abortion. I've been crying a lot lately because I'm in shock and I'm scared about what has happened. I don't know if he has misunderstood me or thought I was over reacting, but I just found out I'm pregnant so my emotions are all over the place. I can't tell my family as I am scared to disappoint them or upset them. I feel very alone and I have no idea what to do. I wish I had someone to talk to but for the past 2 nights I've been in tears because I feel like I have to deal with this alone. I'm in a lot of pain and I've never felt all these changes happening to my body, I'm scared and it just makes me feel worse because nobody is here to help me or comfort me.

Does anyone have any advice?
Thankyou so much

You are not alone. I was like that in the beginning and now I am 18 weeks. Yes I am still scared but a guy like that doesn't deserve your tears. My ex left when I was 14 weeks and it has been one of the most difficulty experiences in my life. All I did was cry for the first days, I couldn't understand how can somebody do that. Hey it's a baby when I heard my baby's heart beat it was the most amazing thing ever and wait until it starts moving then you'll get this great feeling. It's a life you have in you and if God put it there it's for a reason. You don't need a guy that doesn't want to be there to have this baby, but tell your parents. My mom has been my biggest support, yes they were mad but then realized that its a life that will grow. I am postponing my career as well but only for a while. But let him be, why keep somebody that leaves you when you need him most, just wish him the best and life will take care of it. I know how much it hurts but the pain will have to subside. Hope the best

I don't understand how you could be "shocked" that you're pregnant when you don't take the pill or use protection. How do you think pregnancies happen? You need to face reality that you may well in fact be in this alone and take responsibility for your actions and make a decision on what you think is best now. You cannot count on him to be there even if he does come back. He has a kid with his ex so clearly a kid will not keep him in a relationship so don't fool yourself into thinking it'll be different with you.
