3 weeks pregnant and am experiencing some lower back pain

Hi! I am about 3 weeks pregnant and am experiencing some lower back pain accompanied by intermittent bleeding. The bleeding has minor blood clots and I am concerned. I have a dr. appt scheduled for tomorrow but have no patience to wait for some form of an answer. Any advice out there?!

Hello,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out.

It is normal to experience lower back pain in pregnancy but if you are having bleeding with clots then it needs evaluation. It can be due to coprus luteum defect of pregnancy or an impending miscarriage.

You need to consult a gynecologist to confirm the diagnosis after physical examination. Till that time, take adequate rest, avoid climbing stairs and lifting any heavy weights.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
