i need some help! im 21 weeks along and so depressed it is to the point i can hardly get out of bed. my pregnancy was unplanned and im not married. i live with my boyfriend but just wait for the day when he will eventually leave me. he is just getting more and more upset the more depressed i get, and i get more depressed the more aggrevated he gets, so it is just a viscious cycle. we love each other very much but the pregnancy is taking such a toll on our relationship not to mention on my mental health. i have made some huge mistakes and i dont think i am going to be a good mother. i cant expect to teach my baby girl things if i cant even follow them myself. i just dont know what to do. im scared, and sad and alone. PLEASE HELP.

Welcome to ehealthforum.
You are undergoing what is commonly known as ‘pregnancy blues’ or depression associated with pregnancy. Since it is affecting your day-to-day life, you should consider getting counseling done along with your boyfriend (couple therapy) to come out of it. If the symptoms are found to be severe during the counseling you will need to be put on medications. Men do not understand the depression you go through during pregnancy as this is something new to them (they are unaware), they need to be assured and taught to cope up with pregnancy induced depression to be a meaningful support to their spouses.
Do not worry about your past mistakes, concentrate on your present and plan your future the way you want it to be for your baby. No one is perfect in this world. It is only with perseverance we all can practice good and ethical values.
Take care.
