WBC is High with many many immature neutrophils

User Profile
Hey i have a odd pain on my left abdomen, came on suddenly and very painful. My obgyn did a ultrasound becuase i have a history of an enlarged spleen. Everything was fine. My urine was great but my WBC is HIGH!! There are many many immature neutrophils in my blood which isn't normal unless you have cancer or a big disease.... My doctor was very concerned in releasing me but since everything else looked ok he said he had no choice. I have been home for a couple hours now, extremely nauseous and now pain on my right side abdomen as well. I have been having high blood pressure but no protein in my urine which blocks out pre e. Any idea what could be going on?

Welcome to ehealthforum.
It is difficult to comment on the exact cause for the symptoms that you describe without examining you and going ahead with further evaluation. Do not ignore your symptoms. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further examination, evaluation, clarification and assistance to get started on suitable treatment options for better symptom control. If worried, you may also consider taking second opinion from another gynecologist.
Take care.
