You are not necessarily sterile but you are older than the last two times and it may take a little longer. With that diagnosis it would be a good idea to visit an obgyn for a check up. Have you been having regular Pap smears?

In most normal couples, pregnancy can be achieved within 12 months of unprotected intercourse. About 82-87% of couples in their 20s through mid-30s will become pregnant within 1 year of co-habitation.

The chance of conceiving among couples in which the woman is less than 32 years old is approximately 20-25%, per monthly cycle. This means that the human reproduction is less efficient than most other species.

There are three things a couple must have to get pregnant: the woman must ovulate, the man must have sperm, and the woman must have open fallopian tubes. If any of these are not functioning optimally, a couple may experience infertility, which affects about 13-15% of couples at any point in their reproductive lives.

You need to relax and try to enjoy your sexual life, normally, and this would help you conceive faster. Having a lot of expectations or getting stressed or anxious while you are trying to conceive can affect ovulation and implantation due to hormonal imbalance caused by stress.

If your urine pregnancy test is negative even after 7 -10 days of missing your period, it is likely that your lack of periods is due to Non-Pregnancy related issues.

If you want to conceive sooner, you might consult with your doctor who can do a few tests and provide proper help. Ovulation induction or progesterone therapy can help couples to conceive in due time.

I hope this helps.
