Getting Pregnant Answer A25896
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on pregnancy status without examining you. If you were sexually active without any additional protection while being on first pack of birth control pills, chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out completely (as the effective protection from the pills start after about 3-4 weeks of regular use). Few women can get period like bleeding (decidual bleeding) during first few months of pregnancy. The bleeding that you are experiencing could be the withdrawal bleeding (after completing the birth control pill pack). If you suspect to be pregnant, look out for development of any other new symptoms. Visit your gynecologist/obstetrician for further evaluation and assistance. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
