Want an antidepressant with increased sedation. on Cipralex

User Profile
I'm presently taking Cipralex 10mg but among the side effects is drowziness but without being able to sleep, also increased anxiety. I already take 10mg diazepam for sleep and 1mg ativan for anxiety. I now find myself needing more. I would like to take an antidepressant with increased sedation. Any opinion?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Since you are already on Diazepam and Ativan, avoid further self-medication. If worried or if you need increased sedation, consider visiting your treating doctor/healthcare provider for further evaluation, clarification and assistance. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/healthcare provider and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
