Hi, welcome to the ehealth forum and I am glad to help you.
You seem concerned by the soft hair right from your childhood which you find difficult to style.
Some of us are born with soft, fine silky hair. It can be wonderful for those who prefer to wear their hair straight and flat but those who prefer fullness in their style are in an endless battle. If you see yourself here, you need some options. You need help in getting fullness and texture in your hair.
As pointed out, this is normal variation present from birth but you can add body, volume and texture to hair in consultation with hair stylist by using specialised cutting techniques and other styling products but the same shall be used with caution.
Hope this helps. Take care.
