very large bump there that is reddish brown

User Profile
Hello. About a week ago I had noticed a bite or pimple on the side of my right breast. Its not the underarm area just below it.. Well it stated getting bigger and bigger I thought it was a boil. It had a head on it and was red, hot and tender to the touch. Well about 4 days ago I busted it.. I know I should have but it relieved it a lot. Now the pain is almost completely gone its no longer red or hot to the touch but I have a very large bump there that is still reddish brown and has no head on it. I'm really scared I've never had anything like this. Its very hard and solid. Could it be cancer? What should I do??

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern.

It most probably is an infection. though I would recommend a physical exam and assessment for a biopsy if needed in consultation with your doctor to confirm the diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any query

wishing you best of health

Thanks
