this has been one long week. Around Tuesday I began experiencing brownish discharge even though my period was over 2 weeks ago. I also had nausea and was extremely tired. I did a pregnancy test the next day and it was positive. Since then (it's no sunday), I have had extreme mood swings, more nausea, increased appetite and still just as tired. I have also done another three pregnancy tests all which are positive, although the line is pretty faint. I've been doing heaps of reading and am pretty confused because apparently two weeks after your period is when you ovulate and you can't possibly have had implantation yet? My periods are usually irregular which may be relevent. How is it possible that I am pregnant? Is two weeks too early to tell? Help I am so overwhelmed and confused! I'm also a dancer and not sure whether I should stop so I don't harm the baby, especially since I have been pregnant once before but miscarried at 6 weeks.

Did the positive show up within a time limit? If so, then schedule an appointment with your doctor to confirm.

The only for sure thing about your cycle is that two weeks after you ovulate, you get your period. When you ovulate can be affected by a number of things and its possible you ovulated earlier than normal-- especially since you're a little irregular to begin with.

Yes- time to see obgyn
It sounds to me like you are pregnant. I've had pregnancies confirmed with HPT that early before too. False positives are not usual, even if the line is faint, it's still there and still considered positive. (I've had faint lines too) We're not robots, so sometimes our bodies do weird things and might give up an egg at a different time. or two at a time, (I have fert.twins) If I were you, I would definitely think I was pregnant and make an appointment to see the doc. Good luck and congrats!
