I am 50 year old male and been dealing with this condition for almost a year now. Last August my right foot and let swelled really bad and was diagnosed with this. It has gotten much better and been using compression socks when helped but foot and leg are not all the way down. I had other conditions with this leg before and used Medrol dose pack which helped tremendously. I was wondering if this would be safe to take for this condition to get the swelling all of the way down? Than you

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Its due to inflammation and medrol is
anti inflammatory. But it should be taken for shortest duration as possible because of its short and long term side effects.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
