Where I live, tomatoes are about to come into harvest...so here's a great sauce recipe:

2 Tbsp olive oil
2 onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 1/4 cup zucchini, sliced
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 6 oz can tomato paste
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 Tbsp oregano, dried
1 Tbsp basil, dried
(other veggies as you like)

1. Heat the oil over a medium skillet. Sauté the onions, garlic, and zucchini in the olive oil for 5 minutes on medium heat. Or, if you're French, 15-20 minutes to caramelize.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer covered for 45 minutes. Serve over the pasta of your choice.

Yield: 6 servings

I would like to make a vegetarian pizza, but I would rather count on somebody who can recommend it than any recipe that can be searched on the internet. If anybody has some idea to share, I'll really appreciate it, thanks!
