unprotected sex, is she...?

User Profile
My girlfriend had finished her period on the 4th of April, after starting on the 1st of April. We had unprotected sex on the 11th of April and then she had gotten her period again on the 13th. Is she pregnant?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If her ‘second’ period is shorter and lighter than her usual period, then it could be suggestive of implantation bleeding. The timing your unprotected intercourse is risky as she is closer to her ovulation time (after finishing her periods). The chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out. Wait and watch for her actual normal periods, if she does not have her periods, or if she has altered bleeding, or develops any other new symptoms (suggestive of early pregnancy), then consider visiting her doctor/gynecologist for examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in her body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately).
Take care.
